About Westay
If bold is what you came for, start here — Westay is the plainest reading of that request on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. It sits at 26 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. windestrian is the name on the listing.
Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. If you want one use for it, take bounce: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether bold is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
