About The Marysville
What we like about The Marysville is how little it tries to be everything — it does 70s font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. letterhend made it. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 13 reviews; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. It has 418 saves behind it — enough that we trust the demand, not just our own taste.
Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. We would use it the way the listing hints — 80s font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. We would not hesitate on this one, beyond the two minutes it costs to read the licence tab.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
