About Thamarind
We went back and forth on Thamarind and kept it, because the alternative was a shelf full of fonts that look better than they work. It sits at 12 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. It is FadeLine's work. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. This is a safe default rather than a statement piece, and most jobs want the safe default. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether script and calligraphy fonts is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
