About Periwinkle
What we like about Periwinkle is how little it tries to be everything — it does advertising, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 1 review, all of them on the listing. It comes from Fourlines.design. 73 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
We keep it filed mentally under authenticfont, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether advertising is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
