About Open Heart
What we like about Open Heart is how little it tries to be everything — it does craft, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. Buyers put it at 4.9 out of 5 over 11 reviews; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. 1,424 saves is a quiet kind of recommendation, and it is the only one we can read off the listing. Typerex is the name on the listing.
We would use it the way the listing hints — cute — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. We would not hesitate on this one, beyond the two minutes it costs to read the licence tab.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
