About Haystack
Haystack earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to farmhouse font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. 64 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. It comes from freelingdesignhouse. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 2 reviews; worth clicking through to see what they actually said.
We keep it filed mentally under font pair, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
