About Festival
Ask for beautiful fonts and you get a hundred near-misses; Festival is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. It sits at 4 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
We keep it filed mentally under brush fonts, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether beautiful fonts is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
