About Cleopatra
Nothing about Cleopatra is going to surprise you, and on this shelf that counts in its favour. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 48 reviews; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. 3,978 saves is a quiet kind of recommendation, and it is the only one we can read off the listing. Mercurial made it.
We would reach for it when the deadline matters more than the flourish. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. With a score that steady we would download it without much thought — still, open the preview full size first, because that is where the detail either holds up or does not.
The wording people arrive with is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. We keep it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the script and calligraphy fonts we have gone through. Nearby you will see handwritten, hand written, signature, cursive and brush, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
