About Drix 78
What we like about Drix 78 is how little it tries to be everything — it does alphabet, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. It is Tace Voss's work. Only 3 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
Put it to work on art first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
