About Charity
What we like about Charity is how little it tries to be everything — it does beauty font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Roronoa zoro.S.P.D is the name on the listing. It sits at 3 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
We would use it the way the listing hints — bold font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether beauty font was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
