About Bellany
What we like about Bellany is how little it tries to be everything — it does arrows fonts, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. The save count is still small at 15, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. We keep it filed mentally under basic fonts, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
