About Bamboo
Bamboo reads as ordinary in a list and holds up once it is open, which is the order we would rather have it. It sits at 22 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. It comes from Incools Design Studio. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. We would keep it for the project where a font has to work on the first try. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether script and calligraphy fonts is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
