About Backgrounds
What we like about Backgrounds is how little it tries to be everything — it does advertising fonts, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. The save count is still small at 24, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. fahmistudio99 is the name on the listing.
Our own plan for it is alphabet, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
