About Slowey Retro
The reason Slowey Retro is here is 70sfashion and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. Credit goes to pandekastudio. The save count is still small at 20, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
Serifs are for reading, so we look at a full sentence in the preview rather than a single word — the rhythm shows up only in a line of text. We keep it filed mentally under art, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
