About Royal Fortune
Most of what turns up under beauty branding needs work before it is usable. Royal Fortune is the version that does not. The save count is still small at 34, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Credit goes to letterhend. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
Our own plan for it is calligraphy, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. A serif is for reading, so judge it by a full sentence rather than a word — the rhythm only shows up across a line. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Search for classic elegance, classy design, editorial style and elegant logo and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on serif fonts and script and serif font combinations, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. The same shelf also answers to serif, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Its home here is Serif Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
