About Rustic Royale
What we like about Rustic Royale is how little it tries to be everything — it does accent fonts, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Serif Fonts shelf. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Ardi (7NTypes) made it. 13 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. Our own plan for it is authentic fonts, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
The listing files it under 7ntypes rustic royale font, birthday fonts, book cover fonts and book fonts — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. Its home here is Serif Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are serif and they stay on this page. The wording people arrive with is serif fonts and script and serif font combinations, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
