About Fox Rustic
If bold serif font is what you came for, start here — Fox Rustic is the plainest reading of that request on the Serif Fonts shelf. The designer behind it is Fox7. Only 21 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
Look at the face at body-text size before you look at it big. Most serif disappointments happen at eleven point, not at forty-eight. We keep it filed mentally under bold vintage font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether bold serif font was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
