About Wishful Women
If you want the uncomplicated option, Wishful Women is it — and most of the time the uncomplicated option is the one you end up using. It is Preketek texs's work. Nobody has piled onto it yet, which means the only recommendation here is ours. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. We would keep it for the project where a font has to work on the first try. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
We keep it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the script and calligraphy fonts we have gone through. People after this usually search handwritten, hand written, signature, cursive and brush too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. Put next to the usual requests here — script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
