About White Melati
We put White Melati on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf because adorable font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. Only 12 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. attypestudio is the name on the listing. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
Our own plan for it is adorable script, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
Type artistic handwriting, artistic script, charming letters and charming style into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. Nearby you will see calligraph, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. The wording people arrive with is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. We keep it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the script and calligraphy fonts we have gone through.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
