About Western
If 4th of july is what you came for, start here — Western is the plainest reading of that request on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. It comes from Robbots stores. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
We would use it the way the listing hints — background — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
