About Valeska
There is nothing clever about Valeska, and that is the compliment: it does what the shelf promises and stops there. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 2 reviews, and we read the low scores first when there are any. It is Halo Whimsy Creative's work. We are not the first to notice: 453 makers saved it on Creative Fabrica before we did, and that number is the closest thing to a verdict the platform gives.
We would keep it for the project where a font has to work on the first try. The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether script and calligraphy fonts is really what you are getting.
Judged against the requests we see — script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. The same shelf also answers to handwritten, hand written, signature, cursive and brush, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Its home here is Script and Calligraphy Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
