About Tedgar
Ask for clean and you get a hundred near-misses; Tedgar is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Arendxstudio made it. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Only 10 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. Our own plan for it is display, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether clean was the description or the aspiration.
Filed as calligraphy, hand, letter and logotype. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are script, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive and they stay on this page. You will find it among the script and calligraphy fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. The wording people arrive with is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
