About Tartaglia
If branding is what you came for, start here — Tartaglia is the plainest reading of that request on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. It is Gracetypestudio's work. 4 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. The obvious job for it is casual script, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
It answers to calligraphy, calligraphy font, claasic and classic script, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. The neighbouring searches are handwritten, hand written, signature, cursive and brush — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. Put next to the usual requests here — script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. Its home here is Script and Calligraphy Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
