About Smile Boy
Ask for 7ntypes and you get a hundred near-misses; Smile Boy is one of the few that answers the question as asked. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 13 reviews, all of them on the listing. Credit goes to Yan (7NTypes). The save count is still small at 33, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
If you want one use for it, take apparel: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. We would not hesitate on this one, beyond the two minutes it costs to read the licence tab.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
