About Simple Thinks

Most of what turns up under aesthetic font needs work before it is usable. Simple Thinks is the version that does not. jinanstd made it. 227 saves is a quiet kind of recommendation, and it is the only one we can read off the listing. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge.

We keep it filed mentally under beauty font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether aesthetic font is really what you are getting.

The words on the listing are boutique font, branding font, calligraphy font and card font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are script, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive and they stay on this page. We track what people actually type before they land here: script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. Its home here is Script and Calligraphy Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
