About Simple Comic
Simple Comic is our beauty font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. It is pinkmeca's work. No saves on it yet — new files sit like that for a while, and it says nothing about the file. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. We keep it filed mentally under bold font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
The words on the listing are brochure font, brush font, bundle font and calligraphy font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. On this site it lives on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing script and calligraphy fonts rather than searching for it by name. Nearby you will see script, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
