About Saignature
Ask for apparel and you get a hundred near-misses; Saignature is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Infinity Design made it. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict. It has gone unnoticed so far. We found it worth shelving anyway.
Put it to work on beautiful first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
It answers to beauty, boutique, branding and calligraphy, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
