About Ruilanty
Ask for artisanal packaging font and you get a hundred near-misses; Ruilanty is one of the few that answers the question as asked. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. It is Gracetypestudio's work. Only 12 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. Our own plan for it is beautiful font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether artisanal packaging font was the description or the aspiration.
The listing files it under beauty font, branding, calligraphy and casual script lettering — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. It is shelved with the rest of the script and calligraphy fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. Related wording on the shelf: handwritten, hand written, signature, cursive and brush. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. The wording people arrive with is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
