About Rolling
This is the one we reach for when the request is badge. Rolling keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 1 review, and we read the low scores first when there are any. gatype made it. The save count is still small at 11, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
The obvious job for it is banner, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether badge was the description or the aspiration.
The listing files it under borders, boutique, branding and cover books — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are script, calligraph, handwritten, hand written and signature and they stay on this page. What this shelf gets asked for is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. You will find it among the script and calligraphy fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
