About Retro Blanche
Retro Blanche earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to 70s fonts, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Only 65 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Credit goes to Pista Mova. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. We would use it the way the listing hints — 90s fonts — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether 70s fonts was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
