About Punjai
Most of what turns up under abstract needs work before it is usable. Punjai is the version that does not. It is Pukka De's work. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. It sits at 17 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
Our own plan for it is alfabeto, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether abstract was the description or the aspiration.
If you came in looking for alphabet, background, calligraphy and cartoon, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
