About Pierce
What we like about Pierce is how little it tries to be everything — it does abstract, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. Only 16 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. Credit goes to Pukka De.
Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. Put it to work on alfabeto first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether abstract was the description or the aspiration.
If you came in looking for alphabet, background, calligraphy and cartoon, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. Related wording on the shelf: script, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. It is shelved with the rest of the script and calligraphy fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. What this shelf gets asked for is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
