About Ningrat
Ningrat earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to canva, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Only 26 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. It comes from Whymore. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 1 review, which is better evidence than the thumbnail.
We keep it filed mentally under embrodiery, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
The listing files it under font, fonts, fonttatoo and font wedding — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. The same shelf also answers to script, calligraph, handwritten, hand written and signature, so widen the search there before giving up on it. Put next to the usual requests here — script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. You will find it among the script and calligraphy fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
