About Milkshake
What we like about Milkshake is how little it tries to be everything — it does beauty font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. The designer behind it is Garcio. The save count is still small at 9, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. Put it to work on branding first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
