About Merry Bells
Merry Bells is our back to school font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. It sits at 32 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. It comes from narinari32.
The obvious job for it is birthday card font, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
