About Media Sample
Media Sample earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to beauty font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Only 6 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. The designer behind it is Anaya Studio. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
Our own plan for it is bundle font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
