About Marin
Most of what turns up under abstract needs work before it is usable. Marin is the version that does not. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. It is Pukka De's work. 8 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. If you want one use for it, take alfabeto: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
The words on the listing are alphabet, background, calligraphy and cartoon, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. The neighbouring searches are script, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. We filed it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
