About Madanni
What we like about Madanni is how little it tries to be everything — it does business card font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. It comes from ayska17. It is quiet on saves so far, so take this as our opinion rather than the crowd's.
The obvious job for it is charm font, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
The words on the listing are clothing design font, complete set font, contemporary font and cute font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. The same shelf also answers to script, calligraph, handwritten, hand written and signature, so widen the search there before giving up on it. The searches that bring people to this shelf are script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. It is shelved with the rest of the script and calligraphy fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
