About Loving
What we like about Loving is how little it tries to be everything — it does beautiful font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. K_IN Studio made it. The save count is still small at 1, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
Our own plan for it is blackphanter font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Type branding font, business font, calligraphy font and christmas font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. On this site it lives on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing script and calligraphy fonts rather than searching for it by name. Nearby you will see script, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. Judged against the requests we see — script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
