About Lentamy Ebigail
Lentamy Ebigail earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to alphabet tattoo, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Only 9 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. The designer behind it is Denustudios. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
We would use it the way the listing hints — black gothic font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
The words on the listing are black jack, blackletter, california tattoo and calligraphy, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. People after this usually search script, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. What this shelf gets asked for is script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. On this site it lives on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing script and calligraphy fonts rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
