About Janked
If aesthetic script is what you came for, start here — Janked is the plainest reading of that request on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. Only 16 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. Maulana Creative is the name on the listing.
The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. The obvious job for it is bold condensed, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Type branding typeface, casual font, condensed sans and condensed sans font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. We keep it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the script and calligraphy fonts we have gone through. People after this usually search calligraph, handwritten, hand written, signature and cursive too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
