About Hometown
What we like about Hometown is how little it tries to be everything — it does best, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. Credit goes to lettersays studio. 226 people have saved it over there, which tells us the idea works for more than just us. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 9 reviews; worth clicking through to see what they actually said.
Put it to work on branding first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Type your own words in the preview box before you decide: script fonts look beautiful in the designer's sample and fall apart in all caps or with a double letter. A rating like that takes most of the guesswork out. The preview at full size takes out the rest.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
