About Fellowmen
What we like about Fellowmen is how little it tries to be everything — it does canva font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Script and Calligraphy Fonts shelf. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. 3 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. It is Illustration Ink's work.
Our own plan for it is casual signature font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
Search for craft font, craft svg font, crafty and cricut font and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. You will find it among the script and calligraphy fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. Judged against the requests we see — script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. The neighbouring searches are script, calligraph, handwritten, hand written and cursive — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
