About Fathers Family
Fathers Family is our beauty font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. It is Creatype Designer's work. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. The save count is still small at 10, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. Our own plan for it is bold font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether beauty font is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
