About Everyday
The reason Everyday is here is aesthetic font and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. Credit goes to JidapaDesign. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. The save count is still small at 2, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
We would use it the way the listing hints — branding font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
Filed as brush script, calligraphy typeface, casual script and classy script. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. Put next to the usual requests here — script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. We filed it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
