About Diamond
Diamond earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to amazing font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. With 54 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. Credit goes to Fontensy. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. Our own plan for it is beautiful font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Type calligraphy, cursive font, elegant font and fancy font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on script fonts, cursive numbers, fancy cursive fonts and elegant vs script font, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. Related wording on the shelf: script, handwritten, hand written, signature and brush. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. We filed it under Script and Calligraphy Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
