About Day Star
Ask for bold handwritten font and you get a hundred near-misses; Day Star is one of the few that answers the question as asked. 5.0 out of 5 from 13 reviews — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. It sits at 28 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. Credit goes to Letterayu.
The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. Put it to work on bubble font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. We would not hesitate on this one, beyond the two minutes it costs to read the licence tab.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
