About Coconut Milk

Most of what turns up under abc needs work before it is usable. Coconut Milk is the version that does not. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. Credit goes to rangkaiaksara. The save count is still small at 8, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.

We would use it the way the listing hints — abstract — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. The join between letters is the whole craft in a script face, so we look at a word with a repeated letter before judging anything else. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether abc was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.

Warm calligraphy with SVG files, used on birthday cards as much as on anything seasonal. The bowls are round and generous, giving it a softer feel…
