About Close Order
Close Order is our background pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. william jhordy made it. 16 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
The obvious job for it is beauty font, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether background is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
