About Christmas Child
Most of what turns up under display fonts needs work before it is usable. Christmas Child is the version that does not. Credit goes to Itme_digitalart. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 13 reviews, which is better evidence than the thumbnail. 98 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
We keep it filed mentally under fashion fonts, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Type your own words into the preview, not the designer's. Scripts are built around a sample phrase, and a double letter or an all-caps word is where they come apart. We would not hesitate on this one, beyond the two minutes it costs to read the licence tab.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
